Hospitality
NAI Alliance boasts specialists in Industrial, Office, Retail, Multi Family, Land and Investment Sales. So, expanding to create a Hospitality and Specialty Group in Northern Nevada was the hospitable thing to do. Tourism has long been Nevada’s main economy closely followed by mining.  In 1859, Charles Fuller built a log bridge across the Truckee River and began charging a toll for travelers passing over the river on their way to Virginia City to strike it rich in the gold mines. In 1861, Myron Lake purchased Fuller’s bridge and expanded the entrepreneurial idea by adding a stable, mill, and a hotel. Soon, the Central Pacific Railroad Company came through and the town of Reno was established and was well on its way to becoming “the Biggest Little City in the World”.

With Nevada’s generous tax incentives and benefits, investors are anxious to join in Nevada’s gaming, lodging, and recreating businesses.  Businessmen like Fuller and Lake paved the way for boardinghouses, hotels, and brothels to take shape in the Biggest Little City. They helped to create a foundation which grew to include the specialty business of the quickie divorce. Hotels and boardinghouses put up divorce seekers for a six week period to obtain their divorce. Reno was mentioned throughout the country as “sin city” which spawned curiosity and even had Reno featured in Marilyn Monroe’s movie “The Misfits”.

Today, Reno’s cityscape is a beautiful display of casino lights against a back drop of the Sierra Mountain range to the west. Hundreds of hotel and motel properties spread out through the down town and surrounding areas of Reno and Sparks beckoning tourists, visitors, and locals alike to stay and play. NAI Alliance and Reno opens their arms with a generous and cordial welcome to our Hospitality and Specialty Group serving your needs in Hotel/Motel, Casino & Resort, and Special Use (Senior Care, Wedding Chapels and more) properties in the Northern Nevada region.
