Marcus Clark, CPM® has overall responsibility for the management effort.  He will be your direct link in communications for NAI Alliance – Commercial REMS. As a Real Estate Manager for Management Services in the local market area, Marcus is responsible for the operations and management of an institutionally owned portfolio of commercial properties, primarily industrial and retail with some office.

 

Marcus has over thirty years of real estate management experience in all phases of commercial property management including office, retail and industrial and hotel/motel properties.  Marcus is well versed in feasibility studies, marketing preventative maintenance, tenant improvements, budgets, and tenant relations.  Marcus’ clients include lending institutions, investors, developers, receivers, trustee and asset managers.

 

Throughout his years in real estate, Marcus has been personally responsible for properties valued in the billions.  He has worked with legislative bodies revamping landlord-tenant and real estate licensing laws.  Marcus has successfully represented clients in numerous tax appeal proceedings.  Marcus has been involved in several projects from the development stage through the construction and initial rent-up periods.  He has also been active in office/retail leasing in sizes of under 5,000 square feet. 

 

Marcus is one of the partners of NAI Alliance Commercial Real Estate Services. Before forming NAI Alliance REMS Marcus was in charge of Property Management for Colliers International, and prior to that he was a Senior Portfolio Manager with CB Richard Ellis, Inc.  He currently manages seven retail centers and two industrial/warehouse projects.  Marcus prepares budgets and is a mediator for tenant/owner relations.  Additionally, he has had oversight responsibility for major renovations.

 

Marcus has a B.S. degree in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Montana and has earned the CPM designation.  He has been active in Boy Scouts, Little League and the Chamber of Commerce.  He is a past President of the Reno/Tahoe IREM Chapter, was editor of the Reno/Tahoe IREM Newsletter, and sat on its Board of Directors for years.
